JUST when we finally master the art of contouring, it's already old news.  'Tontouring' is the latest beauty craze sweeping the globe and it was spear-headed by our very own Marissa Carter of Cocoa Brown fame. Marissa Carter is pioneering the tontouring trend. It's based on the same properties as contouring but instead of using bronzers and other wash-off products, you use fake tan. The positives to this method mean that all your hard-work is more long-lasting. The negatives? If you make a mistake, you're pretty much stuck with it until it wears off. Demonstrating the process for the Daily Mail, Marissa explained: "Ever since I mentioned this technique on my Snapchat a month ago, I have been inundated with women who have commented on easy it is to add this to their weekly routine. "This technique means you only need contour once a week as opposed to every day, giving you the perfect make-up free selfie." Marissa's tips for achieving this look flawlessly are as follows:

1. Apply a gradual tanning moisturiser all over the face for an even, natural glow.
2. Using a stippling brush, apply a darker shade of tan to the forehead to create dimension.
3. Then, using an angled brush, apply the same darker shade under your cheekbone (from ear to lip) and blend with fingertips.

Hardcore tontourers can also take it one step further and apply the darker shade to the sides of the nose, the temples, and the jawline. Marissa added: "This may look harsh when first applied but use fingers to blend for an even glow."
