Gillian Anderson Just Had The Best Response to a Highly Sexist Article

Cassie Delaney

Gillian Anderson is probably best known for being one-half of TVs favourite Alien Hunters.

She’s recently reprised her role as Agent Scully in The X-Files

Before that, she played the badass boss Stella Gibson in The Fall.

She’s also working on a book FYI so, all in all, she’s one of those ambition successful women that we admire.

Side note: she also has fantastic skin and looks fantastic at 47 years of age.

Sadly this fact is what garnered her attention today in this Daily Mail article. The piece stated Anderson had said she would consider plastic surgery and then it highlighted and commented on areas of her face.

One such comment pointed to Anderson’s forehead and stated:

“Remarkably line-free – ‘the classic look of well-administered Botox’, says one expert”.

Okay then.

The article, Ageless Gillian and the BotoX Files, caught the attention of the actress. Anderson took to Twitter to share the image and point blankly stated:

“If it weren’t so sad, this bollocks would have made my day”.

We’re going to go ahead and assume that implies she’s disputing the botox claims then.
