Anyway, I recently came across Aveda's Smooth Infusion range, which is designed to keep your hair smooth and stylish even when the humidity hits.
I'm a cynic at the best of times so you can imagine my reaction to this theory but of course, I had to give it the Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother a go given that it claims to protect your locks "against humidity for up to 12 hours".
How did I get on?
I'm not saying this bad boy changed my life or anything of the sort but it did make a considerable difference to how presentable my extremely thick hair looked.
It's simple to use, you just whack it on before blow-drying and the weightless, serum-like consistency is ideal for anyone with heavy hair.
It's like a hair primer (used in the same way as your skin primer) that acts as a protective barrier, combating any moisture in the air.
Overall, it was much easier to manage, it sat much better and thankfully, frizz wasn't an issue so this €28.50 product has become my new hair hero (for now anyway).Nars finally launches the product we’ve been waiting years for
