I found this €28 product and it’s the best thing ever for my oily skin

Where has this been all my life?

Let me start by saying that my oily skin is the bane of my life, a tad dramatic but you know, roll with me here.

Getting makeup to last the day just isn’t an option and as for nights out, I will always have a shiny T-zone after approximately two hours.

It goes without saying then that I am always on the lookout for a product to keep my makeup on and if that fails, one that allows a flawless foundation touchup.

Powder is great, to begin with anyway, but reapplying usually makes skin dry and dull while putting foundation on top of your base results in a horrible cakey effect, more often that not.

That’s why Urban Decay’s latest launch, Blur on the Run, is slowly becoming my new best friend.

For anyone that has oily skin and finds their foundation ‘separates’, this is the business for touching up your base and blending it together.

Blur on the Run, priced at €28, mattifies and perfects but unlike powder, it doesn’t dry and that’s been my problem up to now.

This is down to optical blurring pigments and a high-tech formula. Whatever the UD magic is, it’s working for me and my shiny skin.

While we’re on the topic of skin saviours, I’m irrationally drawn to YSL Touché Eclat all-In-One Glow.

You might think that with oily skin I’d be staying well away from anything designed to make skin look sheer, but this is just fab.

It gives a gorgeous glow that looks a lot more natural than when you go overboard with the highlighter, something that’s all too easily done.

It’s €44 but it’s so easy to wear, so hydrating and so glowy that I’m a convert to this foundation… for now anyway.
