Kiehl’s has released its first-ever sheet mask and it’s an absolute game changer

Keeley Ryan

Over the last few months, there’s been a huge surge in the popularity of face masks.

There’s been charcoal masks, mud masks, peel-off masks and sheet masks – just to name a few.

But Kiehl’s have released a new mask – and it’s an absolute game changer.

Inspired by the customer demand for a mask with a no-mess application, they launched the Instant Renewal Concentrate Mask – their first dip into the sheet mask territory.

The two-piece hydrogel masks are designed to comfortably fit all face shapes, leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth and totally rehydrated.

And to make the news even better, it really does what it promises.

The packaging promises “instantly smoother-looking skin” after just 10 minutes, so I was definitely intrigued.

I got the chance to test out the sheet mask twice so far, once to pre-emptively make sure my skin didn’t dry out and once for a much-needed boost of hydration.

In an effort to make sure that I didn’t look absolutely wrecked post-flight during a recent vacation, I turned to the mask for a bit of help.

And while I probably wore it a bit longer than I should have (I kept it on while I was packing the night before, probably a little more than 20 minutes), it definitely worked.

My face was dewy and super hydrated for days after using the mask – and not even a flight, which normally zaps out my skin in next to no time, could change that.

The second time I tried it was about a week and a half later,  when I’d been hit with a head cold that led to next-to-no sleep.

But after the recommended 10 minutes with the mask on, I looked like I had gotten a solid 8 hours – if not more – and the effects lasted for days.

While it may not be one that’s possible for a weekly treat, it’s definitely worth having around for those special occasions.
