Kourtney Kardashian uses this popular brunch food to make her hair shiny

Kourtney Kardashian has revealed what she puts in her hair to make it so shiny. She uses an avocado smoothie. She has teamed up with her hair stylist Andrew Fitzsimons and shared a video on her website outlining her reasons for using it. Andrew said that he got the idea of using avocados for Kourtney's hair after he saw her including them in her morning smoothy. He says that the avocados help to moisturise the hair and heal a dry scalp. They also work as a natural detangler. The other ingredients included in the hair smoothy are manuka honey, lemon and olive oil. Andrew says that the honey acts as a strengthener for the hair follicles, while the lemon acts as a remedy for dandruff. The olive oil is a natural conditioner for the hair and also acts as heat protection for your hair if you use a straightener or a hair dryer. He also advises to use some sort of scented oil to make it smell nice. You blend all the ingredients and then massage it into the hair and scalp leaving it for 45 minutes.
