Kylie Jenner’s mascara hack is absolutely key if you find yourself with black rims under your eyes every damn day.
I’ve got to the point where I now avoid wearing mascara on my bottom lashes because by the time I get to the office, it’s running halfway down my face and I look like I spent the entire commute crying.
Far from ideal, particularly when I’m in a professional environment.
However, it may have to do with the colour I’m using, standard black and that’s where Kylie’s alternative comes in.
She encourages her big sister Kim to try a brown shade in the below makeup video which has been getting a lot of love online, no surprises there to be fair.
Kim describes it as “interesting” and you can tell she’s not too enthused.
However, the finished effect is just stunning and as brown is less harsh than black, it’s not as noticeable if it runs, genius.
The mascara they’ve used is Dior’s Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara in brown, a classic in many a beauty bag, as it gives a serious curl factor.
Kylie recommends using the curled part of the wand ” as it shapes to your situation” (an interesting way of putting it) and yeah, I can see how it would help avoid the liquid running.
