Lizzo’s latest nail trend is one we’re seriously eyeing up for our next trip to the salon

Prepare to start seeing these bad boys everywhere.

Lizzo is hopping on the latest nail trend early as it is forecasted to be a big one for SS20. As we swap the dark reds and blacks for more lighter shades heading into spring, prepare to see lots of "milky nails". This new term is that given to nails painted in creamy white gel polish as seen on the queen herself below. The colour isn't fully opaque giving rise to the milky look but it's finished with a high shine polish to have them looking Insta ready. Popular salon brand OPI carry a range of colours perfect for achieving a milky white look including shade "Funny Bunny" or for one with a bit of built-in sparkle there's "Dancing Keeps Me On My Toes". Alternatively, if you want to achieve the milky white look from home, Essie's shade Picture Perfect will do the trick. Part of their couture gel wedding collection, we adore this colour.
