To do it yourself, Marie Claire recommends choosing two nail polishes and mixing them but avoid using dark shades as these don't mix that well together.
Next step is to use an old bottle cap into which you pour a little of both nail varnishes.
Then you take an old nail varnish brush and clean it with nail varnish remover to remove any leftover colour.
Use the brush to mix the colours, apply as usual and finish with a top coat.
