London Fashion Week Has Coined A New Nail Trend

Now that we're in the middle of fashion month, (this week is Milan), there's lot of new trends emerging for spring summer 2016. The Sibling show at London Fashion Week introduced one very cool look: the custom colour blend nail. Pink, lilac and black were the shades chosen for this season's SS16 show but our favourite thing about this trend is that you can choose whatever colours you like to make your own personal blend. Backstage at the Sibling SS16 LFW show To do it yourself, Marie Claire recommends choosing two nail polishes and mixing them but avoid using dark shades as these don't mix that well together. Next step is to use an old bottle cap into which you pour a little of both nail varnishes. Then you take an old nail varnish brush and clean it with nail varnish remover to remove any leftover colour. Use the brush to mix the colours, apply as usual and finish with a top coat.
