MAC Cosmetics launches a range of lipstick-inspired perfumes

We were NOT expecting this!

Cathy Donohue

MAC Cosmetics has just launched a fragrance collection.

Yep, the beauty brand is bringing out a range of six perfumes, inspired by six of the best-selling lipsticks, entitled ‘Shadescent’.

In case you’re wondering if your favourite shade features, the six lippies in question are Lady Danger, Heroine, Ruby Woo, Creme d’Nude, and Candy Yum-Yum.

As you may have guessed, the smell of each fragrance corresponds to the type of lipstick so for example, Heroine makes for a vampy purple lip and the scent is woody, heady and strong.

Then, Candy Yum Yum is a playful bright pink and the smell is a sweet and feminine one.

Of course, there’s already a major buzz about the launch on social media as you can see from the below posts, with MAC ambassador Blac Chyna gushing about Candy Yum Yum in particular.
