Makeup artist fights back after getting slammed for posing online in blackface

She's getting a lot of hate online.

Denise Curtin

Online beauty influencer and makeup artist, Ghadeer Sultan shocked her millions of followers when she posed online in blackface.

Sharing the photo to Instagram, the star changed her skin tone with dark makeup and hid her short brunette bob by wearing a long black wig that fans believe was all part of looking culturally inappropriate.

Many took to her post in which she wished everyone a happy New Year by saying “blackface” and showcasing their disgust at the image.

However, Ghadeer has fought back and believes the hate towards her isn’t fair.

Explaining that she was showing off her makeup skills, the influencer wrote:

“I am not racist .. I hate racism. What I’ve done is only to show what I am capable of… I love you all
Life is meant for living… living with love and passion for every one without thinking of what they are could really change your life ….”

The star released the statement with another photo of herself from the same photoshoot but from a different angle.
