Yesterday, we had rose gold locks and today, ‘nude hair’ is the look of choice.
Described by Good Housekeeping as an “in-between trend, somewhere between platinum blond and golden tones”.
Meri Kate O’Connor, senior colourist at Eva Scrivo Salon in New York, described the trend as “an even amount of both warm and cool tones, which cancel each other out to create a neutral color”.
Meri said the trend, which blends several shades together for a nude effect, is key for this summer namely because it suits “all complexions”.
When it comes to trends, we listen to the experts and Meri is a fan of neutral hair shades because they’re “so easy to wear”.
Another reason to get on board with nude hair is the fact that you can easily change up your style if the mood takes you.
You can start ash and can take it up to golden and changing from different shades becomes much easier.
The hashtag #nudehair is getting a lot of attention on Instagram and it’s definitely one of the more wearable trends around.
