While Vaseline is a bit of a wonder product in the fact that it does numerous things, I can't say I'd ever thought of using it as a cleanser.
It softens chapped lips, slicks back stray eyebrow hairs, acts as an eye gloss when you're stuck and (my personal fave) it is GREAT for removing hair dye that tends to stick around your hairline.
If your skin is sensitive or oily, I'd recommend consulting a professional before trying this particular tip out some of the ingredients may be too heavy for you.
*Vaseline is currently retailing at €2.69 at Boots but obviously, the price will differ depending on what shop you go to.
