'beautiful' €8 foundation

You know it’s going to be good.

Beauty brand, The Ordinary, has been getting heaps of attention recently, and although the brand was originally a skincare line, people are now obsessed with its foundation.

Two foundations launched in April, Lightweight Serum Foundation and High Coverage Foundation, and they have been getting rave reviews across the board, as you’ll see from the below tweets.

When it first launched, there was a waiting list of over 20,000 people and it’s currently in stock on ASOS, retailing at €8.11 in 18 shades, but it won’t hang around for long.

What’s all the hype about?

Well, The Ordinary is extremely affordable (serums under €10) AND the products do what they say, getting rave reviews from beauty experts.

The skin care products boast ingredients like vitamin C, niacinamide and retinoid which deliver high-performance results but without the high-end price tags.

The Canadian-based beauty line belongs to the DECIEM family which also looks after Hylamide, NIOD, The Chemistry Brand, The Ordinary, Stemm, Fountain, Hair Is Fabric and WhiteRx.

Both options come in 21 shades and people are delighted with the fact that it’s affordable, long-lasting and does exactly what it says on the tin.
