Kylie Jenner has a massive fan following and her beauty routine has attracted considerable attention in recent weeks.
Although her brown 90s esque lip is said to be from her own personal ‘lip kit’, celebrity make-up artist, Sir John, has the key to recreating the look with a product that’s already in your make-up bag.
Sir John recently tried the look out on supermodel Joan Smalls and he says a light layer of foundation on your lips is the way forward.
Speaking about Joan’s look, he said: “We shaped it up with a bit of lipliner, and put a bit of pressed powder on top of it, and she was good to go”.
Depending on whether you try the look using foundation or a brown shade of lipstick, Sir John says: “You don’t want to go more than three or four shades darker than your natural skin tone, because then it starts to look a bit Goth”.

“Brown lipsticks are great, but you don’t want them to drain your complexion…because it can go wrong, really quick”.
Although wine and berry shades of lippie have been around for a while, Sir John says that brown lipstick is “sexy, modern and intriguing”.
