PICS: Kylie Jenner Will Be RAGING That We Started This New Lipstick Trend

You know you want it… those blurred lines. 

While we WERE enjoying the guilty pleasure of the nineties lipliner look thanks to Kylie Jenner, it is time for us to wrench the brown liner out of our hands and get ready for Spring.

The new “blurred” look is a LOT fresher, more natural and “just woke up” and VERY simple to achieve.

While we are convinced we started it with our own interpretation of the blurred lip look (see below), it appears beauty bloggers have been doing it for months. (Rage.)

To achieve the look, just apply some concealer all around the edges of your lips, then apply your chosen colour on the centre of the lips and blend out using your fingers for a gradient effect – it should look like the lipstick is fading into your skin.

Thoughts on the blurred lip trend? I love the bold color and crisp lines, so I thought I would not like blurred lips (at least not on myself), but I actually really like it as long as it is a fresh color like the one I’ve used in the picture (Candy Yum Yum by MAC) and not a dark one. Like.. I don’t think a blurred black Lip would look very good on me haha, but who knows..?
