The folks over at Trending News Portal have shared a handy trick for removing those nasty blackheads and the handiest part is that you probably have all the ingredients.

You will need salt, ice cubes and mint toothpaste.

What you need to do:

Take two tablespoons of the toothpaste and mix it with one tablespoon of salt in a bowl, until it becomes a paste. Take the paste and apply it to the affected area.

Massage it in a circular motion with water until the area has been cleaned with the paste.

Once it's clean, rub the area with the ice cubes.

The salt acts as an antibacterial ingredient that exfoliates the skin, while not being dissolved in the mixture.

They've shared one warning; that the area may go red after applying the solution but it will reduce soon after the process.

People with dry skin are advised to moisturise once the redness has died down.
