Russian supermodel Elena Perminova has revealed a staggering weight loss in this month’s Russian Vogue – just two months after giving birth to her third child. Perminova released the images as part of a ‘body transformation’ feature with the magazine – which showed the expectant mum at eight months pregnant regain her figure in just two months following a Caesarian section. The images appear in this month's copy of Russian Vogue The 28-year old’s images accompany a piece in the magazine, where she revealed a gruelling diet and exercise regime helped the model get into shape so quickly after giving birth: “I started [exercising] just two weeks afterwards, even though I had a Caesarian. There were no breaks at weekends. “Normally doctors say "yes" to sport only three months after giving birth. But I started earlier, just two weeks afterwards, even though I had a Caesarian. The doctor allowed me to do it because I felt very well. Naturally, at first I was not exercising a lot, or there was a risk to breastfeeding. And the main thing - I did not exercise my stomach. It is dangerous to do it right after birth.” Married to media tycoon Alexander Lebedev, who owns the The Independent and London Evening Standard, the mum took just 60 days to complete her body blitz. Speaking about the weight loss, Russian Vogue told its readers: 'Perminova is posing naked. She has nothing to hide. What's more, she has something to show. 'Her body is in ideal shape, although two months after birth is nothing at all in terms of time.' The images have sparked controversy in Russia though, with many critics claiming the images are photoshopped, not viable for most women and put dangerous pressure on new mum’s to compete for a ‘perfect shape’. Commenting on the Vogue feature, one reader Tatiana Sakhokiya said: "With so much money it's not that hard. Of course Elena is a beauty, but I would advise the author to talk an average young mother who sleeps two hours at night and cooks dinner and sweeps the floors in the flat. "And where is the scar after her Caesarian?" As part of the 60-day project, Perminova documented her journey on her personal Instagram account. The Russian beauty has said she used social media, especially Instagram, to stay motivated – focussing on trainer’s tips and videos: “I can't stop reading the Instagram of Brazilian supermodel, Victoria's Secret Angel Izabel Goulart (@iza_goulart). “In her videos she shows how to train cleverly in the fitness club with the most tricky equipment. The results 'are in our own hands'.”
