Selena Gomez has dramatically changed her hair… and it’s very noughties

It shouldn't work but it does.

Anyone else feeling the urge to book the hairdresser RN?

We’re still living for the nineties but Selena Gomez has just brought the noughties back and we’re into it.

The singer only chopped off her trademark long brunette locks and debuted a edgy bleach-blonde bob back in November but it looks like she missed the length.

She stepped out at the Coach show for New York Fashion Week on Tuesday with long hair once again – and a very 2006-looking wispy fringe.

Selena was also spotted out and about in the city during the day with her new gruaig pulled up in a messy ponytail, proving she’s a woman after our own hearts.

The wispy fringe was, in its noughties hey-day, the only option for gals who wanted to go one step further than the humble side fringe.

Pretty much every celeb had one at one stage or another, with icons like Beyonce and Kate Moss sporting some of our favourites.

To be fair, it’s a style that’s a lot easier to pull off (and a lot less maintenance) than the classic blunt fringe and will work with lots of hair types and face shapes.

If you’re thinking of giving it a go, we reckon you’re probably best off bringing a photo of Selena’s 2018 version to your hairdresser.
