Seven Struggles Girls With Fine Hair Face

It's a bit of a mare.

Cathy Donohue

Last week, we detailed the difficulties of having thick hair and of course, it’s only fair that those with fine hair get a say too.

If you have thick locks, you might find here’s too much to handle but fine-haired ladies tend to have the opposite problem.

The eternal quest for volume.

Every time a new product is released promising ‘voluminous bouncy curls’, you can’t help but splash out.

It doesn’t matter that your bathroom cabinet is bursting with half-used tubes and tubs, you just want Disney Princess hair in your life.

Limp locks.

If you go overboard on the conditioner/styling cream, your hair basically looks like you didn’t bother to wash it. At all.

Morto.

Blow-dries = waste of money.

There’s a big night coming up and you head for the hairdresser for the curly blow-dry of your dreams. You’re home five minutes when someone says “I thought you were going to the hairdressers”.

This is the look they deserve.

However, when your hair is thin, you’ll end up with something like this. Actual cry face.

When people with thick hair complain.

Seriously though. Just give me some already and shut up. Shut up about how long it takes you to wash, dry and style it. And how heavy it is. And how much the hairdresser hates you.

You try dealing with only a quarter of the hair you should have and see how you like it.

Staring longingly at photos of Kate Middleton and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

Why were they blessed with hair like that? What did they do to deserve shiny lustrous thick princess hair?

It just isn’t fair.
