This amazing tattoo artist is covering stretch marks with skin-coloured ink
Stretch marks are just a part of life for many women (and men).
I myself had some lasered off me a few years back... and it kinda, sorta worked.
But it is very difficult to find a proper 'cure' for stretch marks - they're always kind of visible.
US based tattoo artist Dominique Bossavy is now offering a technique she calls Nano Color Infusion.
Basically, she uses skin coloured ink to tattoo over the marks.
And holy shit, it works.
Dominique is the woman behind Lena Dunham's eyebrows.
She has also worked with breast cancer survivors to tattoo realistic-looking nipples post surgery.
And now, she's turning her talented hands elsewhere.
Her strategy for stretch marks is twofold. First, she fills in the grooves using micropuncture.
Then the magic happens.
Dominique perfectly matches her custom mineral-based tattoo pigments to her client’s skin tone.
And just like that, the marks are gone.
Naturally there is a science to it and all that, but I won't bore you with the details.
