The ‘ancient’ hair removal method you may not have tried yet

Apparently it's less painful than traditional waxing.

Sugaring.

As if shaving, waxing, epilating and laser removal wasn’t enough to get to grips with, sugaring is another hair removal method making waves in the beauty industry.

Although it’s far from a new method, it doesn’t get half as much attention as traditional waxing and considering it’s less painful, it really should.

Sugaring is an ancient practice that originated in the Middle East but has recently become popular in the United States and Europe too.

The method involves making a paste/gel of sugar and other natural ingredients such as lemon, honey and water, which is applied to the hair.

Long Woman Legs. Woman Cares About Her Legs. Sugaring Treatment

Hair is directly pulled from the follicle, which sounds grim we know, but because it doesn’t stick to the skin like waxing does, it’s not as sore – HAPPY DAYS.

Much like waxing, the more often you get ‘sugared’, the less painful it will be and it’s all about keeping regular appointments.

The results of sugaring can last up to six weeks and as tempting as it is to stick with the handy shaving option, the lasting effects of this technique sound good.
