My skin has been on a roller coaster in the past few years.
From extreme dryness during my pregnancies, to oily breakouts after giving birth - to be honest I was at a loss to what skin type I had anymore. Is it dry? Oily? Surely combination is a safe bet?
I tried a lot of products. Some seemed to do the trick for a short while but then the breakouts would come back. I could never find one that dealt with my dry patches without being too heavy on the oily parts. That's when I happened upon this product and it has been a serious life (or skin) saver!

A few weeks ago I had a friend who works in beauty therapy recommend that I try a cream containing vitamin E. She then went on to suggest a lot of high end products, but I was a bit wary of investing so much in something without testing it first. There's nothing worse than spending €80 on a product only to find it doesn't work.
The whole skin care hunt went out of my head and it wasn't until I was in Lidl doing my weekly shop that I was reminded of it. I was picking up some shampoo when I spotted the skin care range and more specifically the Cien Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream. I noticed on the box that it contained vitamin E and hyaluronic acid.
I also spotted that it was only €3 and thought why not? For good measure I picked up the night cream version too, also €3.

Within a couple of days of using both the Cien day and night cream I saw a massive difference in the condition of my skin. My pores had dramatically reduced in size and my breakouts were starting to disappear.
When searching online I found that a lot of other people had similar results when using the budget skin cream and I wondered why I hadn't heard more about it.
I've now been using Cien for almost two months and it's safe to say that I will definitely be re-stocking once the jar runs dry. I couldn't be more pleased with the results it has given me and I would highly recommend it to anyone dealing with problematic skin.
