Hair trends have been massively popular in recent years, from rose gold hair to rainbow locks and bronde, a super-wearable trend, is a major look for 2018. It's extremely versatile as bronde can be altered to suit both brunettes and blondes, depending on what style/shade/colour you're after. Even better is the fact that it is a low-maintenance trend so you won't need to rush back for regular appointments to get your roots done. So what is it exactly? Basically a mix of blond and brown-toned shades (caramel, honey, ash, gold, blond, butterscotch) that are achieved using a mix of ombré and balayage. It started to gain popularity last year and in recent months, the bronde look has been spotted all over Instagram. Chatting to Byrdie about this gorgeous hair trend, colourist Amy Fish explained how it works for both brunettes and blondes.

"It's a great look for brunettes who want to become brighter, and also first-timers who want to start experimenting with colour. Perfect for blondes, it tones down that beachy vibe".

She also describes it as a "low-commitment" hair colour so if you don't want a massive change but feel your hair needs a little lift, you'll love bronde.
