Silk pillowcases have long been recommended as a beauty-must have but that could all be about to change. The latest trend might sound a little mad but according to Marie Claire, the copper pillowcase is the way forward. Laying your head on a cold metal surface sounds pretty horrendous but the complex technology (tested by NASA if you don't mind) behind this idea actually makes sense. Copper is a material which is believed to have healing properties so when you sleep on a pillowcase that contains teeny tiny, microscopic copper particles, the skin cells on your face regenerate. Basically, this is helpful for the treatment of blemishes and it aids the production of collagen, which in turn will reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
