Forget a good hair day, you’re about to have a GREAT one.

When it comes to shampoo, one of the most annoying (and difficult to fix) issues is when product build-up accumulates and you just can’t get rid of it.

If this happens, your regular shampoo won’t cut the mustard and you’ll have to look for something that’s designed especially for this hair mare.

Enter salt shampoo, a game-changer when it comes to cleaning your scalp and roots, resulting in super, shiny, healthy-looking hair, mainly because of its exfoliating nature.

As we know, salt sprays have long been used to add texture and volume to our locks but incorporating this idea into shampoo is next level.

Oh and FYI, these salt shampoos are sea-salt based (not table salt). As sea salt is packed with minerals that work overtime including sodium, potassium, and magnesium, this can only be good for your locks.

Explaining exactly what makes these salt shampoos so good, hair maestro Christophe Robin (who just so happens to have a Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt in his hair care range), told Refinery 29 that they act as natural detoxifiers for eliminating ‘grease grime and product build-up.

He went on to say:
