If there's one hair colour I've ever been afraid of trying, it's icy blonde.
Every time I've gone lighter, I've looked at myself in the mirror and questioned the decision, usually resorting to a darker shade soon after.
However, according to one expert colourist, platinum blonde can work for everyone once toner is adjusted to suit the individual's hair.
Speaking to
Cosmopolitan, hair guru Samantha Cusick said:
"Anyone can suit being a platinum blonde. I tailor the colour to suit every client by putting a toner on it, whether it's milky, creamy, silver, grey".
She went on to say that going blonde is a must for everyone at some stage although we say if you're happy as a brunette, by all means stick with it.
