The kitchen staple that will make your spot disappear before your very eyes

Even if it is a bit smelly.

So this is mad.

Farah Dhukai, beauty vlogger, is of the opinion that garlic can banish whiteheads and she’s been sharing her game-changing hack with all of her followers.

The Ontario native shared a tutorial on her Instagram page where she extracted the juice from a garlic clove and used it to get rid of a whitehead.

As you see in the video, the whitehead disappears and that’s pretty magical in itself.

Now, there’s every chance the video was edited but if there’s no messing involved, then I’m very impressed.

GET RID OF PIMPLES OVER NIGHT! ??⚪️? GARLIC will flatten your pimple and get rid of it overnight, if not instantly! ? ?Take a clove of garlic and make some cuts in it to extract some garlic juice ?RUB the garlic on any pimples that you may have ⚪️If you have a whitehead like me – itll be gone INSTANTLY and wont come back?? ?If you have a larger pimple beneath the surface, rub the garlic on it and leave it on over night. Youll wake up with it GONE! ✅Try this out.. it REALLY works to flatten the pimple and make sure it doesn’t come back! #hudabeauty #wakeupandmakeup #vegas_nay #diy #makegirlz #byefeliciapimple *disclaimer – if you have sensitive skin, do a test patch first. If it starts to string or you feel discomfort rinse off immediately*

The idea sounds a bit bonkers to be fair but considering that garlic has anti-bacterial properties, there is a basis for Farah’s trick.

She’s also of the opinion that applying garlic to those pesky sore under the skin spots can help soothe them and you know, calm them down.

If a spot appears and you have absolutely nothing to hand, then grabbing some garlic from the kitchen could be an easy option. Even if it is smelly.
