We were of the opinion that the only way to repair split ends is to visit the hairdresser and get a trim.
However, the folks over at Bustle have suggested a couple of different options and there’s one that we’ve NEVER heard of before.
Apparently, putting ‘flat beer into a spray bottle’ and applying to your split ends can help control them.
The Beauty Gypsy coined the trend and this is how it works: “the proteins and sugar in beer bonds to your hair, helping to strengthen and mend damaged follicles”.
Of course, your hair isn’t likely to smell too good afterwards so using a scented shampoo, conditioner and maybe even a leave-in treatment spray for good measure, is advisable.
