Would you give ‘denim hair’ a go?
A hair trend getting attention at the minute, although it originally surfaced in 2016, is denim hair.
It ranges from dark hues of purple and grey to light pale blues so you can mix it up, depending on the shade you’re after.
I spoke to the experts at Hession Hairdressing, located in both Drumcondra and Clontarf, Dublin, to find out what you need to know if you’re thinking about opting for denim hair.
Tip number one:
“When choosing a right shade of denim hair colour you should take into consideration your complexion and texture”.
This particular hair trend can be achieved by a number of different application methods so if it’s something you’re interested in, have a chat with your colourist.
Tip number two:
“There are many techniques to apply this shade and all of them provide a different look. It can be balayage, ombre, highlights or a global application, either way you’re going to stand out with this stunning hair color”.
