There’s a new hair trend forecast for this summer and it is mad altogether

When it comes to hair trends, you can go as wacky or as understated as you want.

Brunette baby lights work well if you’re looking for a subtle change but if you really want to change it up, green hair is set to be this summer’s shade.

Yep, you read that correctly, green.

The Byrdie gals chatted to those behind the scenes at Pinterest and found that this is the hair look everyone’s pinning right now.

Pantone’s colour of the year is Greenery so it comes as no major surprise that it’s set to take over as 2017’s biggest hair trend.

From emerald to teal to forest to fluorescent, there’s no limit to the green options available.

In case you’re in need of some inspiration, Instagram (and Pinterest of course) is ahead of the (green) game already…
