The 1990s was a beautiful decade. There was Buffy, tattoo chokers, Pokémon cards and The Simpsons was still actually good.
Another trend during the 90s was products changing colour depending on your 'mood' (of course, it was just changes in your skin's chemistry but where's the magic in that?)
There were mood rings (I had three that all turned my fingers green), mood nail polishes and obviously mood lip tints.
Now beauty titan MAC have decided to resurrect this trend for nostalgic millennials, with their Tender Talk lip balms out this June.
According to
TheStashed, there are already iterations of mood-based cosmetics from Lipstick Queen, NYX, and Smashbox.
The MAC colours range from bright coral pink, to purple and they are made to condition and hydrate the lips, as well as provide a pop of brightness.
They might come in handy during the summer!
