This bridal hairstyle is ‘out’ for 2017

This one is no longer 'in'.

Not everyone will agree with this!

If you’re in the midst of wedding planning, chances are you’re stressed but also having a lot of fun planning every little detail.

When it comes to makeup and hair, there are so many options and every individual bride has different taste.

However, it seems that there’s one hairstyle losing its popularity with many brides moving away from big, backcombed styles.

Instead of hair that’s been brushed back and laden with product, it’s all about natural volume.

This makes complete sense as you want to look and feel comfortable on your wedding day, without a million hair grips and a can of hairspray holding your locks in place.

If you have fine hair, this isn’t an issue either because instead of backcombing, you can opt for clip-in extensions.

Jacqui Fay is the lead bridal stylist at Dublin-based Kazumi Hair Salon and she has this important advice for anyone trying to decide on what hairstyle best suits them (and THE dress).

“When choosing a style, it’s always best to look like your most groomed self. Going too different on the hair may make you feel exposed or unlike yourself”.

A trend that Kazumi expect to see more of this year is hair accessories as many brides change from a veil to a jewelled/embellished design for the reception.
