Although the trick has been around since the 18^th century, natural health consultant Martha Christy published a book touting the importance of emptying your bladder… and using it for natural health and wellbeing. In Your Own Perfect Medicine, Christy even suggests taking a leaf out of Hindu traditions and using urine as a medical marvel. For those who don’t want to down an undiluted cup of your first flow of the day, Christy recommends dabbing some drops on a spot can heal even the worst of your skin concerns. The latest fad even got some airtime from one journalist from The Telegraph, who quoted her friends using their pee method for the perfect complexion: “It’s really good for sorting out spots. You just put some wee on a cotton pad and then press it against the spot for a bit. It dries it out. It works better than Sudocrem or aspirin.” So if you’re on the countdown to pay-day and out of toner, this might be the (rather unusual) answer to peachy skin.
