The Venus ambassador and skincare expert explained to Popsugar:
"Shaving has a naturally exfoliating mechanism of action, so you need to use products that are designed to work in synergy with your razor and improve glide, reduce friction, and the risk of irritation and cuts. “These formulations will coat the hairs, making them thicker and more difficult to shave.”If that isn't enough of a reason, it turns out that not using the right product can actually end up blunting your razor. And not only are your razors rendered useless quicker, you're increasing the likelihood of getting cuts, too. Dr Sturnham continued:
“It can clog your razors, which ultimately means using your razor more often for results that aren't as smooth.”That's us told, then.
