Alison Braun first appeared on The Biggest Loser Australia in 2008, desperately unhappy about how her weight affected her ability to enjoy life with her children.
During the show she lost an incredible 55.2kg and vowed that the pounds would stay off. In the last 7 years she has lost a further 9kg and says she’s happier than ever.
Alison, a therapy co-ordinator says she adheres to a strict diet and exercise regime to stay in shape.
“When I wake up at 4.50am, my routine is turn off alarm, take pre-trainer [supplement], have shower [and] put on gym clothes ... this is my clockwork routine everyday,” she posted on Facebook earlier this year.
She recently shared a snap of her on holiday in Bali and said “Never did I think I would ever take a pic of me in a bikini in Bali,” she wrote. “I never wanted to come to Bali because at 122kg I never felt like I fitted in. I still can’t believe just how much life I missed out on.”
