Three must-have 2018 beauty products that are entirely worth your time and money.

The thing about beauty launches is that there is a ridiculous amount of choice and it’s very difficult to decipher between what you want and what you actually need.

With that in mind, we’ve had a look through 2018’s launches to see what three beauty products are actually worth splurging on this year (and the ones that you’d genuinely love to be gifted).

Huda Beauty New Nude Palette, €65

This was an instant social media hit and the reason for that is self-explanatory, just look at the palette in all its nude glory.

The New Nude palette is a stunning mix of 18 shades including ten mattes, four reflective duo-chromes, two glitters, one pressed pearl (major swoon for this) and one shade that’s described as ‘concealing’ and results in a flawless base for any of the eyeshadows shades.

The palette contains some statement options but none that are so dramatic that you’d feel self-conscious wearing them (electric blue, we’re looking at you) and that’s another major reason to buy.

2018 beauty products

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette, €50

This palette is difficult to get your hands on but when you do, it is oh so worth it.

Initially introduced as a limited-edition product, it’s coming back in 2019 by popular demand, YAY!

As you’ll see for yourself below, it is pretty dreamy, the perfect mix of pink, nude, taupe and rose shades and each shadow is labelled with Charlotte’s signature steps – Prime, Enhance, Smoke and Pop so you can easily perfect the perfect pretty eye in minutes.

It’s part of the Pillow Talk family – Lip Cheat liner, Pillow Talk lipstick and Cheek to Chic blusher and given the intense popularity of pink, this is one makeup range you’ll fall in love with over and over again.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette, €54

Another major beauty launch from 2018, this comes from Anastasia Beverly Hills and it’s a makeup lover’s dream. The palette includes 14 stunning shades mixing both mattes and metallics and they’re all equally fabulous. Previously, you could only shop the brand online but it arrived at Arnotts a couple of months ago and the counter is oh so beautiful. It’s now a lot easier to snap up your favourite AMB products and the glittery, sparkly palette is giving us major festive feels.

Claudia Norvina Soare, president at AMB previously said that it’s perfect for creating a “sexy smoky metallic eye” that’s ideal for the holiday season so yeah, this is one Christmas present we’ll be treating ourselves to.
