As well as moisturising after tanning, hydrating your skin from the inside out is important. Try foods rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, which limit water loss in skin cells, helping to keep your skin plumped for a more even looking tan. Try adding avocado, a handful of almonds or some Omega 3 rich fish into your diet every day.
3. Drink your greens
Dull skin can mean a less than radiant tan – not a good look – try drinking your greens to help boost the skin’s glow from within. We love juicing, especially in summer – blend a handful of green vegetables such as spinach, kale, cucumber and celery together with some anti-oxidant rich blueberries and a splash of coconut water – drink your way to gorgeous skin!
4. Sleeping Beauty
Get enough sleep. When you sleep, your body goes through its natural healing process, helping skin cells to repair and renew, and restore the body’s overall well-being. Getting 7 – 8 hours sleep a night is vital for radiant skin and sparkling eyes – the perfect accessory for showing off your tan!
