New year, new you.

Or so the cliched saying goes. But the new year does give us the chance to start afresh, get a new diary, make new plans and spruce things up. So, as we get ready to celebrate Christmas and welcome a new year, there is no better time then the present to think of ways in which we can change things up in 2018. And one direction we are looking is towards our hair. From a drastic cut to simply accessorising differently, there is so much you can do to re-invent your do' and one celebrity hairstylist Clayton Hawkins has some major predictions for 2018.

1. The Curly Shag

One major hairdo Clayton predicts will come back into the spotlight is the 80's shaggy wet look curls for a short, Flash Dance-esque look.

2.  Ribbions

Now this one I could put money on. The return of the bow is coming and we are all for this. Major designers took to the runway this winter predicting this trend will hit in Sping 2018 and we cannot wait.

3. Bangs

This is a trend I am most definitely hoping on come 2018, I have been putting it off for quite some time but celeb stylist Clayton told Elle that this trend is going to takeover next year and we love it. You can check out more signs that say "it's time for a change" here.
