The wet-look hair trend is back and we are seriously loving it

It's a YES from us!

The 2017 Emmys brought wet hair back with a bang.

And now we seem to be spotting this trend everywhere. Slick wet-look buns and glossy tousled waves make this look a surprisingly easy one to re-create.

Now if your not brave enough to go full Khloe Kardashian (hair like she’s literally stepped straight out the shower), then you can opt for the half wet-look, which is a good starting point to help you transition into this trend.

Here is some inspo from the best the celebs have to offer.

Create wet-look waves:

  1. Start with blow-dried straight hair and then work a wax in sections throughout hair.
  2. Don’t use a gel, as the water in most gels will take straightened hairs into a frizzy/curly state.
  3. Use enough wax to drench your hair and then scrunch strands lightly to create waves.
  4. Tie your waxed hair into loose plaits for 20-35 minutes, spray them with hairspray and then unwind for optimum beach wave.
