Delsha Campbell was left with four eyebrows after a beautician tattooed fake eyebrows above her natural ones.
The 22-year-old from Manchester had asked for her brows to be filled in but the procedure went horribly wrong.
According to The Mirror, Delsha said: “For months I was too ashamed of my face to even go outside the house. I was so depressed I ended up seeking counselling.”
“I looked like a clown. I was gobsmacked, speechless. I couldn’t believe what she’d done to me.
“I had to constantly pluck my natural brows out but I often had shadows.
In August 2012, model Cara Delevingne’s bushy brows inspired her to try eyebrow tattooing and when she saw an offer for £100 (reduced from £350) in a local clinic, she decided to go for it.
Delsha went on to say: “When I went out I could see people staring at me trying to make out why I had four eyebrows.
“I was so upset I couldn’t eat and began losing weight. I lost two stone. I couldn’t face work. I became a recluse.”
The coffee shop manager spent £400 on a procedure to make them fade but even now, two years on, she says the lines still have to be covered with make-up.
