This YouTuber melted every lipstick in Sephora into one ‘Frankenphora’ shade

This is not comfortable to watch.

It’s like watching those videos of people cutting up designer bags – it doesn’t feel right.

However, Safiya Nygaard’s video of her destroying hundreds of gorgeous lipsticks from beauty haven, Sephora is a little different.

The former Buzzfeed producer melted 603 lipsticks down and mixed them together to create one super Sephora lipstick and the results were surprisingly not terrible.

Using 126 nudes, 113 reds, 132 pinks, 57 browns, 120 purples, 21 oranges and 34 “unusual colours”, Safiya got to work creating her “Frankenphora” lipstick and the process looked like a lot of fun.

Melted them all in one large pot, filling dozens of lipstick moulds and then popping them in the freezer to set, the YouTuber didn’t seem confident that the results would be worth the effort.

Safiya ended up with 500 finished lipsticks and honestly, they look pretty great.

So what does a YouTuber do with 500 lipsticks she made from other melted lipsticks?

Give them away to her subscribers of course.
