April is here, and our reading list is in need of some new titles. We've been scrolling through the latest Amazon Kindle offers and have found six fantastic books you need to read this month.
Happy Place by Emily Henry

You can always rely on Emily Henry to write a perfect rom-com. Of all her books, Happy Place has got to be one of my personal favourites.
Harriet and Wyn are the perfect couple - they go together like bread and butter, gin and tonic, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
Every year, they take a holiday from their lives to drink far too much wine with their favourite people in the world.
Except this year, they are lying through their teeth because Harriet and Wyn broke up six months ago. And they still haven't told anyone.
But the cottage is for sale, so this is the last time they'll all be here together. They can't bear to break their best friends' hearts, so they'll fake it for one more week.
But how can you pretend to be in love - and get away with it - in front of the people who know you best?

Meet Helen Walsh.
Wasp-tongued private investigator Helen doesn't believe in love, fear or hot drinks.
But when a missing persons case takes her into the dark, glamorous world of her dodgy ex, Jay Parker, she is drawn away from Artie Devlin, her distinctly unglamorous detective boyfriend.
This isn't good news for Helen.
For Jay's fame-hungry world is one of smoke and mirrors, and Helen is no longer sure what she's doing, or quite why she's doing it…
To save herself from the brink, she'll have to start believing in something - and fast.
But will it be fear? Or love?

Beth was seventeen when she first met Gabriel. Over that heady, intense summer, he made her think and feel and see differently. She thought it was the start of her great love story. When Gabriel left to become the person his mother expected him to be, she was broken.
It was Frank who picked up the pieces, and together they built a home very different from the one she'd imagined with Gabriel. Watching her husband and son, she remembered feeling so sure that, after everything, this was the life she was supposed to be leading.
But when Gabriel comes back, all Beth's certainty about who she is and what she wants crumbles. Even after ten years, their connection is instant. She knows it's wrong, and she knows people could get hurt. But how can she resist a second chance at first love?

Postcards from a Stranger by Imogen Clark

When Cara stumbles across a stash of old postcards in the attic, their contents make her question everything she thought she knew.
The story she pieces together is confusing and unsettling, and appears to have been patched over with lies. But who can tell her the truth? With her father sinking into Alzheimer’s and her brother reluctant to help, it seems Cara will never find the answers to her questions. One thing is clear, though: someone knows more than they’re letting on.
Torn between loyalty to her family and dread of what she might find, Cara digs into the early years of her parents’ troubled marriage, hunting down long-lost relatives who might help unravel the mystery. But the picture that begins to emerge is not at all the one she’d expected—because as she soon discovers, lies have a habit of multiplying.
