iPhone’s are about to get a new keyboard and it looks hella different

The windows phone was a bit of a flop but that hasn’t stopped the tech giant from feeling like they have a few genius ideas to share.

Microsoft’s newest app is a new one-handed keyboard called Word Flow. The keyboard, only available in the US so far, is designed to make it easier  to text with one thumb.

The keyboard features a curved design but is otherwise laid out like a regular QWERTY keyboard.

Like any good texting system, Word Flow comes with a predictive algorithm to anticipate your next work for faster texting. The app is also completely customisable and can be configured to suit right-handed people or left handed.

Some keys lack a distinct outline so it will take some adjusting for those unfamiliar with this curved keyboard style.

This is not the first keyboard Microsoft have developed for ios devices. The Hub Keyboard was released before but it absolutely bombed.

According to Mashable it only has a two-star rating on the App Store and reviews claim it is slow, buggy and generally not up to scratch.
