The comedian stepped down from his role at the station after accusations of his inappropriate behaviour surfaced on social media.
According to a new radio report, listener numbers dropped by 20,000 people.
The Joint National Listenership Report figures released back in October had an audience of 118,000 at lunchtime, however at the moment the lunchtime audience is only 98,000.
Last month, the radio station announced that Muireann O'Connell would take over the afternoon slot.
Since then, Al made a statement, saying: "The minute I saw the news I texted Today FM's station manager Adelle to tell Muireann I think she'll be great and wish her the best.
"I wasn't asked to resign from any of my jobs, I took that step away myself, facing the very serious claims made.
"There are no hard feelings."
