Survey finds a lot of people suffer from this side effect of using a smartphone

Cassie Delaney

Sure look, iPhones are deadly.

Smartphones in general, have opened up a universe of information that we were unable to access until recent years.

The answer to every question you could possibly have is at your fingertips. We can stay connected with people in distant lands and we can order a dominos at the touch of a button. Thank you technology.

The only downside is that a sense of urgency seems to constantly be brewing amongst users – and it seems to be connected with the battery life of devices.

According to Newstalk, LG Electronics surveyed 2,000 people and found that 90% of them reported feelings of anxiety and panic when their phone batteries dropped to less than 20%.

Don’t worry, though, there’s plenty of steps you can take to preserve the battery life on your phone and prolong the anxiety.

Firstly, you can reduce brightness on your phone. You can also opt to use the Low Power Mode which can extend battery life up to four hours.
