Ever feel like you’re on borrowed time? Well there’s a new watch that plans to tell you EXACTLY how much time you have left.
It’ll also tick down on a timer until D-Day. ‘Cause that’s not creepy.
The Tikker watch is the brainchild of Swedish inventor Fredrik Colting, and uses information about the wearer’s lifestyle to calculate their life expectancy.
Instead of being ominous though, Colting has labelled his creation the ‘The Happiness Watch’ and says he designed it to inspire people to make the most of their life and use every minute they have left:
“Remember, it’s really not about how much time you have, it’s what you do with it.”
To set the watch up, users are asked questions about their lifestyle, including medical history, whether they smoke or drink, and whether there is any history of medical conditions such as cancer and diabetes, in the family.
These factors are then taken into consideration alongside how much exercise you do and your weight, leaving the watch generates a score which is subtracted from your age to calculate an expected date of death.
Colting raised an incredible $98,665 on Kickstarter to produce the watch, and is now selling it for just £50.
