There’s a reason why your Outlook email inbox was more spam-filled than usual

For those of you that use Microsoft Outlook as your email service provider, you may have noticed quite an increase in the quantity of spam emails winging their way into your regular inbox.

Well, it’s not just you. According to The Verge, Microsoft’s spam filters have been experiencing all kinds of problems since yesterday (June 1st), but the company is working to fix the issue now.

Microsoft is putting two fixes in place to resolve this irritating problem.

“One will provide short-term relief preventing spam reaching your inbox. The second will be a longer term fix which should stop spam reaching our infrastructure.”
