Empire actor Terrence Howard and his wife Miranda have revealed that they welcomed their first child together four weeks ago.
The actor told Access Hollywood that they welcomed a baby boy in mid-May, saying:
“He’s beautiful and strong and a whirlwind and my wife is so happy.”
The actor even revealed the unique name they’ve chosen for their new arrival, Qirin Love.
Explaining how they decided upon the name, Howard revealed that the choice was inspired by the mythic Chinese creature, the qilin, which is believed to come before a time of prosperity.
The little one is the first child for the couple who got married in 2013.
Howard also has three children from his previous marriage – Aubrey (21), Hunter (19) and Heaven (17).
Terrence is also known from his film roles including Fighting, Four Brothers, Prisoners and Dead Man Down.
