Actors Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have reportedly decided to separate after two years of marriage.
The couple welcomed their first child nine months ago but are believed to have called it quits on their relationship as “it just wasn’t right”.
Wood and Bell met on the set of the music video for Green Day’s When September Ends in 2005 and got tattoos of each others initials before breaking up in 2006. The actress went on to become engaged to rocker Marilyn Manson, but the pair reunited in 2011.
According to Us Weekly, the couple have vowed to keep the separation amicable in order to co-parent their son.
“Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have decided to separate. They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son. This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends,” said a source.
“They love each other so much but it just wasn’t right.”
